Cancellation Policy

Honest, Fair & Straightforward

Captain Brian runs a small, owner-operated charter business. Short-notice cancellations hurt his schedule and income, so the policies are firm but fair — and always safety-first.

 Standard Cancellation Window:
Cancel 7 days or more before your trip for a full refund.
48-Hour Policy (Strict):
Cancellations made within 48 hours of your trip are charged in full, unless the weather makes it unsafe at the captain's discretion.
No-Shows:
Charged in full

Weather Policy

Automatic Full Refund or Reschedule If:
  • There is imminent lightning
  • Sustained winds over 20 mph
  • A forecast of torrential rain all day
If Weather Ends the Trip Early:
  • The trip is pro-rated
  • Minimum charge: 50% of the total trip cost
If Conditions Are Safe and Fishable:
  • The trip will proceed
  • Light rain or scattered summer showers are normal and typically fishable

Safety Comes First — Always

This policy protects guests and prevents wasted days on the water.

Age, Mobility & Safety Policies

The boat is not fully handicap accessible.

  • Guests must be able to safely board and move around the boat.

  • Wheelchairs and guests with unstable mobility may not be safe to take.

Children are welcome — Family Fun Charters are perfect for kids.

Important to Know Before Booking

 Important Note:
If you're unsure whether someone in your group can safely participate, call first.
Group Size Rules:
  • Maximum group size: 6 passengers (U.S. Coast Guard regulation)
  • Babies and young children count as passengers
  • No exceptions — this rule is federal, not flexible.

Payment Methods

Deposits and balances are paid via:

  • Credit card (processed by the captain over the phone)

  • Remaining balance typically paid day-of the trip

Important Note:
  • No mandatory gratuities — tipping is appreciated, not required.

Terms to Protect Your Experience

This is a hands-on fishing experience.
You cast, hook, fight, and land your fish.
 Not for "Meat-Hunters"
If you're looking for a "meat-haul" and will judge the trip by the dollar value of fillets: this is not the right charter for you.
For Fun-Seeking Anglers
If you want a fun, honest, action-heavy Islamorada trip with a captain who works hard and keeps things relaxed: you're in the right place.
 Building Trust
You'll earn trust here before the boat even leaves the dock.
